Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University.
My research interests lie in how individual political and economic incentives are aggregated into political outcomes under different institutional arrangements.
My dissertation focuses on electoral institutions, examining how electoral rules shape the electoral success and survival of parties and the conditions under which electoral institutions are reformed.
Beyond electoral institutions, I apply this political economy approach to other policy domains, including housing and energy policy. My ongoing projects examine how governments shape public housing provision and how decisions over renewable energy siting influence electoral outcomes.
